The New York State Department of Transportation announced that there will be a road closure in both directions in Port Chester on Boston Post Road between Slater Street and Grace Street Church on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
The work is expected to last between approximately 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. the following morning.
During the project, motorists can expect possible delays in the area.
The NYSDOT noted that “motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.”
